No, there are plenty of members of the opposite sex for you to dance with.
Do I need any previous experience?
No – we cater for all levels of dance experience.
How do I book a class?
No need to pre book Thursday evening classes, just pay on the door.

What can I expect from a Dance Synergy evening as a beginner?
19:30 –19:45
Doors open & warm up dancing |
If you haven't brought your own drinks there's a bar so please grab a drink & table. Previous week’s lesson will be projected & instructors are on hand giving you the opportunity to practice 1 to 1 and learn hint’s and tips from our experienced dance crew (we recommend that Beginners attend this session for the 1st 3 weeks).

| 19:45 – 20:30 - Dance Synergy Beginners class |
All beginner moves will be taught and after approximately 6 lessons you should be ready to move up to the Intermediate class. If you wish to practice at home you will be able to view the lesson recap movie online (membership required to log in to secure members area).

21:00 – 21:30 - Beginners practice session
|
During this time all dance crew will be available to answer any of your questions regarding the moves you have just learnt and provides the opportunity to dance with other beginners as well as our experienced dance crew .

21:30 – 23:00 Freestyle dancing
|
The Freestyle period is brilliant fun & great for practicing your newly learnt moves on the dance floor. We will have the evening’s lesson playing on large projector screens throughout this period and instructors will be on hand to help you practice. |
How much does it cost?
£8 for the whole evening which includes the class & practice periods
£5 for Freestyle (practice period) only which starts at 21:30 until 23:00. If you just want to dance you can come in from 21:20 and start dancing in the main room
as soon as the Intermediate class finishes at 21:30.
Concessions
£5 entry for the whole evening if you are a Student, unemployed or over the age of 60. (you will have to provide proof :0)
What are Workshops?
These are smaller classes which usually happen during the day at weekends. These are a great way to learn to dance in an afternoon. Great if you are a bit shy (or want to get ahead of your mates if you’re coming as a group for the 1st time & want to appear to be a natural, don’t worry we won't tell them!)

Beginners workshops
